The Manage Shortcuts utility that is installed with Channergy is a tool that allows you to add or remove scripts from the Tools menu. It also allows you to add or remove reports that are found in the various screens in the Reports menu.
Using the utility
When you launch the utility you will see the following screen.

To add a shortcut to the Tools menu you will select either the Scripts or Programs option from the Select shortcut type combo box.
Depending on which option you select, the application scans the data folder (or client server folder if you are using the client server installation of Channergy) for either Channergy scripts or applications and displays them in the selection box below the Select shortcut type combo box.
Click on the shortcut(s) that you want to create
When you have selected the scripts that you want to create shortcuts for, click on the Create Shortcuts button. When the process is complete the application will display the following dialog box.
Adding Reports to Windows
Channergy has the ability to assign reports to specific windows. For instance if you want to view the R4190 Inventory Counts by Product report from the products window Reports menu you can do that with this tool
To add a report to a particular screen, select the Reports option from the Select shortcut type combo box.
The Select File(s)… window will show a list of the reports installed on your system.
Click on the reports that you want to add to a particular window.
Then select what screen you want the reports to be attached to from the Select Screen…. combo box.
Click on the Create Shortcuts button and you will get the following dialog box.
In the example above we added two reports to the Products screen, now when you open the products screen they will see that the selected reports will now show up in the Reports menu in the products screen.
Deleting items from the Tools/Reports Menus
In some cases you may want to remove items from the Tools menu or the Report menus. This is often the case when you move your data to a different data folder because the shortcuts will no longer be valid. So you will need to delete them before you add them back to the new location.
Deleting Script Shortcuts
Click on the Delete tab in the Manage Shortcuts screen
Select the Scripts or Programs from the Select shortcut type combo box
Click on the shortcuts that you want removed from the Tools menu from the Select shortcuts to remove window.
Click on the Delete Selected Shortcuts button, the application will display the following dialog box.
Deleting Report Shortcuts
To delete a report shortcut from a selected screen select the Reports from the Select shortcut type combo box.
Then select the Channergy window that you want the report removed from using the Select screen you want report removed from combo box.
The Select shortcuts to remove window will show all of the reports attached to the selected screen. Select the report(s) you want removed from the list.
Click on the Delete Selected Shortcuts button, the application will display the following dialog box.
