X-Cart is a PHP shopping cart software and an ecommerce solution for small to large sized businesses. Because the open source code is so fast, most web stores do not need to set up a dedicated server to run their business. X-Cart has a number of features and tools that give the online merchant the ability to customize the look and feel, analyze web traffic, and run marketing campaigns. They also have a number of options that compliment the ecommerce store such as hosting, a myriad of add-on software and high quality customer support.

How much does X-Cart Cost?
X-Cart comes in two different packages and has a flexible pricing model that allows for purchasing of additional licenses at discounted prices. With all licenses, there is a $57 fee for installation. For X-Cart Gold, the first license is $149 or $265 with 200 support points. An additional license is $149 and X-Cart provides a discount for companies purchasing 10 or more licenses. For X-Cart PRO, the first license is $431 or $575 with 350 support points. An additional license is $431 and, like the other package, X-Cart provides a discount for companies purchasing 10 or more licenses. The cost to upgrade from Gold to Pro is $286.
A number of add-on modules can also be purchased to add functionality to the system. A few of the add-on modules include a mailchimp integration, a janrain engage module, and a Facebook tab. X-Cart also offers hosting plans for a variety of different business sizes. Prices start at $45 a month with a year subscription.
